I am an Australian artist located in regional Victoria surrounded by stunning scenery that inspires much of my work. 

My creative process includes abstract markings that include mass of colour, layering, expressive line work and a combination of forms and sweeping brush strokes. I spend time in the ranges, mountains, tracks, waterfalls and towns taking photos and taking in the textures and forms.

I am inspired by the rich reds and ochres of the earth but also the internal emotional terrain. I can see how my own emotions  influence my artwork through the intuitive composition, the selection of colour, the automatic mark making and the process of letting go.

For me, the landscape or nature can mirror the internal landscape, the many layers, the wisdom kept within, the changing seasons, the transformation.
